About me:

I am a 21-year-old from Palo, Iowa, who loves all things sports. I have been an athlete all my life, participating in various sports like soccer, softball, baseball, speed skating, and tennis, but basketball was the one I grew most fond of. I have been a part of the Cornell Women’s basketball team for 3 years, and while I don’t play anymore, I still enjoy watching. Outside of sports, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, as well as my two dogs. I aim to become a strength and conditioning coach at the university level to help athletes achieve their goals.

What I hope to get from this internship

I hope the sports performance internship at the University of Pennsylvania will allow me to gain independence, as this is my first time living alone, but most importantly, I hope to gain knowledge about what it takes to be a strength and conditioning coach. This internship will provide me with the first step in my journey of becoming a strength and conditioning coach. I also hope to meet some friends and mentors who will help me be my best.
