About me

I am from all over the US but I lived in Oklahoma before Cornell. When I moved to Iowa I knew I loved it here. I have wanted to work in the police force since I was a freshman in high school and I can now see that dream coming true. I have two very supportive parents that also can’t wait to see my dream come true. I want to be a part of change and help my community the best way I can.

What I hope to get from this internship

The most important thing I hope to get out of this internship is to find the department in the police force that I want to start out in and learn what department I would like to advance my career towards. There are many career options in the Iowa department, like corrections, K9, patrol, etc, and this internship will let me see all the departments and find my correct future career fit.
