Students from Cornell College have explored internships in government, law, and politics where their experiences have included legal interning at Justice for Our Neighbors and interning for public policy and planning at Mount Vernon City Hall.
Internship experiences at Cornell contribute to a student’s understanding of where their future may take them and can also qualify for a required experiential learning component of their graduation requirements. Career coaches in the Berry Career Institute help students find and apply to internships, and our Ingenuity in Action framework helps guide the experience and identify funding for qualified experiences.
