About me
Growing up in Alaska, I love to explore the outdoors through camping, hunting, and fishing adventures with my family. I discovered Cornell while searching for a place to play baseball in college, and I was intrigued by the block plan and the small feel of the campus. Three years later, I am now finishing my junior year here at Cornell while playing on the baseball team. Last summer, I worked as a medical assistant at an Ear, Nose, and Throat clinic, which has inspired me to continue my path to attend medical school.
What I hope to get from this internship
This summer, I hope to build on my prior clinical experience with this opportunity at Children’s Hospital Colorado. I look forward to working in a hospital setting with medical professionals on a day-to-day basis and soaking up as much information as possible. This internship will be my first summer research experience, so I am excited to get hands-on and learn through the process. I am grateful to work in the concussion lab with Dr. Lowell and Dr. Donahue, an area of medicine I am very interested in.
