About me
Having grown up in rural Wisconsin, I really value small-town life, self-sufficiency, and hard work. I am a proud hater of artificial intelligence, and I believe that anything worth creating can be created without it. As a sophomore at Cornell, I’ve already committed myself to way too much (hence the three majors, two jobs, and various e-board positions). In what free time I have left, I enjoy playing the piano, writing outlines for books I will never write, and defending the Oxford comma.
What I hope to get from this internship
This summer, I look forward to writing extensively under the guidance of best-selling authors and in collaboration with like-minded individuals. Chautauqua is an incredibly vibrant artistic community located in rural New York, and I hope the atmosphere will serve as a kind of escape from the fast-paced nature of the block plan. I’m excited to immerse myself in my craft, and I hope to emerge from this internship with a writing portfolio that reflects my growth.
