Chrysalis Goring ‘26 is interning at Storyline Multimedia in Iowa City, Iowa. She is working with a team to manage media files, edit video footage, and help with event coverage. He is also assisting with video production and behind-the-scenes support.
Hometown: Born in Toronto, Canada, but have been either homeless or nomadic for the majority of my life.

I am passionate about writing, nature, Dropout, and worms! I love all different kinds of writing, and supporting people behind-the-scenes in the creative process. My focus is on storytelling. I am driven by writing that can be activated and contributed to by not just myself, but many people with different skills and perspectives to create meaningful art & entertainment. My single mom has inspired me immensely as a creative person, and I am very grateful to the community I have at Cornell and the ability to focus my passions into real-world experiences.
I am excited to be working hands-on at a small, family-owned company in several different aspects of creating popular media. I am looking forward to learning more about the storytelling choices made in editing as well as writing, writing for advertisements/marketing needs, and developing a wide variety of unscripted content. I hope to form bonds, adjust to the fast-paced and flexible environment of working in entertainment/media production, and to hone my skills artistically and technically!
