About me:

Hello! My name is Gavin and I am a student at Cornell College. I am a part of the Men’s Tennis team as well as the Mock Trial team at Cornell. I plan to pursue a Ph.D in Pharmacology with a focus in drug synthesis. I enjoy cooking, exploring new music, and golfing with my older brother. I am someone that is extremely logic based, always looking for a reasonable explanation for anything and everything. My favorite thing about science is how you can always look further in depth because of the many layers it has.

What I hope to get from this internship

I am really excited to find out how a research lab looks outside of the classroom. I have limited experience outside of high school and college course labs, so this will be a big change I am pumped for. I believe that you should strive to never stop learning, as that is how we grow. This experience will give me exactly what I am needing to put me in a greater position for what my own research can look like later in life.
