Students from Cornell College have explored internships in community development and social services where their experiences have included youth counseling at Four Oaks Bertram Campus and research internships at Willis Dady Homeless Services and Northern Illinois University.
Internship experiences at Cornell contribute to a student’s understanding of where their future may take them and can also qualify for a required experiential learning component of their graduation requirements. Career coaches in the Berry Career Institute help students find and apply to internships, and our Ingenuity in Action framework helps guide the experience and identify funding for qualified experiences.
